Who is Terry?
I'm a former teacher who spent school breaks traveling as much as possible. After embarking on my very first trip to Europe in 2006, I caught the travel bug.
In 2011, I began my solo travel adventures. Since then, I’ve been on 11 solo trips as well as many others with friends. The country that I am most familiar with (and have traveled to on 9 occasions - many of them for a month) is Italy.
I've taken Italian classes in Italy three times since 2011 and even worked at a summer camp in Tuscany in 2012. I’ve been to a total of 12 European countries and have encountered (and learned from) many mishaps and debacles. My experience will help me prepare you for what to expect and what types of situations may arise.
Since leaving the classroom in 2020, I have been making travel more than just a hobby so that I can continue to learn more and share my knowledge with all of you.
My goal is to show others how travel can open your eyes to other cultures, ways of life, and how it can also help us make incredible memories, either with ourselves, or with others.
