Monterosso Apartment Overview
If you’re planning to visit the Cinque Terre and are looking for a relaxing place that will make you feel like you’re right at home? Look no further. With views of all 5 towns from your private outdoor space, this 3 bedroom apartment in Monterosso is the perfect oasis for you.
Arrival
If you’re arriving by car, you’ll have your own private gated parking steps away from the apartment. The host, Daniella, is quick to communicate, incredibly welcoming, and will provide you with a smooth check-in.
The Apartment
This Monterosso marvel is fantastic for groups that are looking for space for everybody, especially if you want to be able to have some privacy. There are many pocket doors, allowing you to close off areas of the home, including the room with the twin beds and sofa bed, which has its own kitchenette. This is the perfect spot for kids or teens who may want their own space to hang out separately from the adults; the kitchenette gives them extra space for food and drinks at their fingertips.
Each of the 3 bedrooms is spacious with high ceilings and having two bathrooms is always a bonus. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook at home and you don’t even have to worry about doing the dishes because there’s a dishwasher available. If you have laundry, you’ll also find a washer in the kitchen area and drying racks outside - the ultimate Italian experience!
The kitchen, living, and dining area are all in the same open room, which is perfect for your group to cook, eat, and relax together.
But the best part of this entire property, in my opinion, is the outdoor space. WOW. There’s a large table for outdoor dining, sofa, two lounge chairs, and a table and chair set looking out over the coastline. If the weather is clear, in addition to your view of Monterosso, you can actually see the other 4 towns of the Cinque Terre. They’re especially visible at sunset when the golden hour light is shining against the cliffs. It’s breathtaking.
To get to town, there’s an illuminated path ending at a locked gate. This will take you to a road you can follow down to get to the promenade. You can also take a more rustic route with views of the water. Either way you go, it’s approximately a 10 minute walk.
Meet Your Host
Daniella is an American who has been living in Monterosso for over 20 years with her husband, Piero, who was born and raised there. They know everything about the area and are able to provide fantastic recommendations. I’ve been renting from Daniella since 2012 and she has been one of the reasons why I keep going back. She thinks of absolutely everything you could possibly need. Daniella hosts several properties in Monterosso, so if the one you’re looking at is booked or doesn’t fit your needs, check out her contact page to see all of her listings.

Monterosso al Mare has two sections: the old town and the new town. You can walk between them easily. The train station is located in the new town along with the apartment.
