The day started off by making our way along the peninsula. Massimo pointed out various spots of significance and even took us under a small waterfall where a few brave passengers had a refreshing shower (or really a dunk) under it.

Finally, we dropped our anchor and swam near the cliffs. I had my first jump into the Tyrrhenian Sea and loved every minute of it. After swimming to some classic tunes that Massimo blasted from the boat, we got back on board and headed to Capri. We took a smaller boat to get onto the island where a small lunch awaited us.

After we ate, we had the option to either go walk around the island or get on a bus to Anacapri where we could go on the famous chairlift. I had seen videos of it prior to this trip and knew that’s what I wanted to do.

The bus took us straight up to Anacapri and it was a short walk to the chairlift, where we were swept up into the sky and got one of the most stunning views I’ve ever seen. After spending some time at the top of the mountain, we headed back down the chairlift, got on a bus, and returned to the marina to get back on the boat.

We had one more swimming stop before cruising back to Sorrento with the sun setting behind us.
