Bayeux Apartment Overview
This lovely, bright studio apartment in Bayeux, France is located in the heart of the city, which is full of history, in the Normandy region.
Arrival
I arrived in Bayeux by train and ultimately took a taxi to the apartment, which was just a short drive of approximately 10 minutes. I was a little confused at first because I didn’t realize you had to actually call the taxi line instead of just grabbing one, but my host, Samuel, was in touch to help me navigate the situation.
The Apartment
The apartment is in a building that is secured by a locked gate. You make your way through a courtyard and into a building. The unit itself is a large studio that has been fully updated. There is ample closet space, a comfortable bed, sitting area with a couch, a kitchen and dining area, as well as a modern bathroom. It felt SO cozy.
One of my favorite parts of this apartment was the view from the large windows. They let in a lot of light and you could even see the cathedral just above the roofs of other buildings.

Takeaway
If you’re looking for a comfortable, updated place to stay during your visit to Normandy, I highly recommend booking this adorable apartment in Bayeux.
What to Do in Bayeux
If you're visiting Bayeux, France, you're most likely planning to tour around Normandy. I went on the best, most unique tour of the Normandy Beaches in a vintage sidecar. From beginning to end, this tour was interesting, humbling, and the perfect way to see the important D-Day sites whether you love historical tours or not. You can find the sidecar tour that I went on here.
